Puligny-Montrachet
The Puligny-Montrachet AOC, established in 1937, covers about 210 hectares in the Côte de Beaune. It is renowned for exceptional white wines made exclusively from chardonnay, known for their finesse, mineral tension, and elegance. The terroir’s marl-limestone soils allow the grape to express itself at the highest level. Fun fact: Puligny shares with Chassagne some of Burgundy’s most prestigious grand crus, including the legendary Montrachet. Pairings: lobster, scallops, truffled poultry, aged Comté.
