The Patrick Jasmin estate is a family-run vineyard located in the prestigious Côte-Rôtie appellation, in the northern Rhône Valley, France. As the heir to four generations of winemakers, Patrick Jasmin continues a long tradition of viticulture while incorporating modern innovations. The estate covers about 6 hectares, spread over steep plots with granite and schist soils, which are characteristic of the region.
The vines are primarily planted with Syrah, the emblematic grape variety of Côte-Rôtie, with a small proportion of Viognier, which adds finesse and complexity to the wines. The cultivation methods are environmentally friendly, with a minimalist approach in the cellar, promoting natural fermentations and aging in oak barrels. The wines of the Patrick Jasmin estate are known for their elegance, fine structure, and complex aromas of dark fruits, spices, and flowers, reflecting the distinctive qualities of this renowned appellation.
This refined and elegant Côte-Rôtie reveals notes of blackberry, flowers, and pepper. The palate is delicate, with a savory, lingering finish.
